Snap 8 Peptide 10mg
Firstly, Snap 8 aka Acetyle Glutamyl Heptapeptide 1 is an octrapeptide. This peptide has the combination of 8 amino acids and acts as a muscle contraction inhibitor, reducing the depth of fine lines and wrinkles. This is done by constraining the muscles used for common facial expressions like smiling and frowning.
Snap 8 clinical studies show that this peptide helps to reduce wrinkles around the eyes by up to 63.13% as research in animal test subjects has shown. Vitro and Vivo efficiency testing indicates that the peptide has 30% more activity than parent peptides such as Argireline. While it works similarly to Botox by targeting the same line formations, it is safer and more affordable.
How Snap 8 Peptide works:
Snap 8 is a mimic of the N-terminal end of snap25. It competes with the peptide to position itself within the SNARE complex, thus modulating its creation. To clarify, SNARE stands Soluble N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor activating protein receptor and SNAP is the acronym for soluble NSF attachment protein. When the SNARE complex destabilizes – even slightly – it prevents the vesicle from releasing neurotransmitters efficiently.
As a result, muscle contraction lowers, preventing fine lines and wrinkles from forming. It can also help with existing lines by inhibiting the creation of SNARE complex and catecholamine release as research has shown.
- reduces lines on the forehead and around the eyes in addition to reducing the depth of fine lines and wrinkles
