Firstly, Flubrotizolam is a synthetic thienodiazepine derivative. In addition, it started in the Netherlands by the pharmaceutical company Cepacol.

How Flubrotizolam works:

Secondly, Flubrotizolam acts as a positive allosteric modulator of the GABA-A receptor, which is a major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. As a result, this action of Flubrotizolam is responsible for its anxiolytic (anxiolytic is a medication or other intervention that reduces anxiety), hypnotic, anticonvulsant (used to prevent or reduce the severity of epileptic fits or other convulsions), and muscle relaxant effects.

Additionally, it acts as an inverse agonist of the 5-HT2A receptor, which is a major excitatory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system.
